Overview

Officially the Commonwealth of Australia, is a country comprising the mainland of the Australian continent, the island of Tasmania and numerous smaller islands. It is the world’s sixth-largest country by total area. Australia’s capital is Canberra, and its largest urban area is Sydney

Climate

Australia has moderate weather for most of the year, but the climate varies with the size of our continent. The northern states usually warm up most of the time, while the southern states experience a cooler winter. Australia is also one of the driest continents on earth with average annual rainfall of less than 600 mm. Like all countries in the southern hemisphere, the season in Australia is the opposite of the northern hemisphere season.

Winter : June to August.
